“Tasty lunches ”
The yakitori here are excellent. It's all freshly served. The service is friendly but didn't get to see the mum. Will be visiting again.

“Fantastic”
Best yakitori in Tokyo, Always go there when in town. Mum knows what we want to eat and we never miss to visit.

“Home, in Japan!”
Fukuden is run by a Mum and her son. He cooks like he is at home and his food is amazingly delicious. Of course it is yakitori but he does a superb Tofu Soup with chicken and chives. You must have it. Fukuden is small, seating about 25 if full, but it is a beautiful example of true Japanese hospital...ity, quality and kindness. On the night of the big earthquake a few years ago I took my office team there to eat and gather their thoughts. It is one of those places I eat at regularly and never have to order - the 'Mum' knows the sake I like, and Fukuden (the son, the chef) knows the food I enjoy. I'd love you to try it. Ask for a cab to take you to Red Cross House. Fukuden is back on the main street, a few doors along. I promise you will not be disappointed.
