This restaurant is literally underground; you must go down stairs below street level to enter. This is a shoe-free restaurant and free lockers with locks are provided to store your shoes while you eat. The restaurant consists of a variety of sizes of private rooms with the screened doors and walls t...hat you see in Shoji Japanese architecture. You sit on pillows on the floor to eat, although there are pits under the tables where you can place your legs and feet if you don't want or are unable to sit cross-legged on the floor. The lighting is dim, the decor is Zen, and the atmosphere is great! The restaurant allegedly serves authentic Japanese food (not being from Japan, I cannot comment on whether or not they achieve this). We ordered a variety of different new-to-us foods to try and some plates were delicious (crab fritters and fried onions), some were kind of bland (garlic chicken wings and cheese rice balls), and one was not what we ordered at all (fried chicken cartilage). Our server did not speak English (and we do not speak Japanese), but there is an English menu online that you can get via a QR code at the table. The food comes out really quickly, but we didn't feel rushed to finish and leave.

2024年06/30(日)12時ごろ来店 期間限定で開催してる？かき氷を楽しみに2人で来店しました。 お昼頃に来店して、店内は私たち含めおそらく2.3組みほどでかなり空いていました。 予定通り、いちごのかき氷と、ずんだのかき氷を注文して楽しみに待っていました。 注文から5分ほどで、いちごのかき氷が運ばれてきました。ただ、ずんだのかき氷は一緒にこなかったので、相方のがくるまで食べるのは待つことにしました。 しかし、ずんだのかき氷は20分たってもくることはなく、それどころか、自分たちよりも10分くらい遅く入店したお客さんの方にかき氷が運ばれていきました。 これは流石におかしいと思い、定員さん...に注文が入ってるか確認したところ、順番に提供してますのでお待ちくださいとのことでした。 なぜ、先に注文したのは自分たちなのに、あとに注文した方のかき氷の方が揃うのが早いのでしょうか？ ほんとに順番通りに提供した結果なのですか？ 実際にどうかはわからないですが、注文が何かしらの理由で抜けていたんじゃないかと思いました。 はっきりとそのように言っていただければこちらも仕方ないと思えたのですが、結果的に30分遅れて、かき氷が運ばれて、遅れた理由は言ってもらえませんでした。 また、レジの時に何か説明あるのかと思っていたら、新人の研修？を行ってみたいで、会計に3分ほど待たされ、説明も謝罪ももちろんありませんでした。 普段なら何も思わないのですが、料理が遅れてたことと、説明がなかったこともあり大変腹が立ちました。 2度とこの系列のお店には行かないです。 このコラボさせていただいてるかき氷屋さんがかわいそうです。 Visited the store around 12:00 on Sunday, June 30, 2024 Is this a limited-time event? Two of us came to enjoy shaved ice. We arrived around lunchtime, and the store was pretty empty, with only about two or three other groups, including us. As planned, we ordered strawberry shaved ice and zunda shaved ice, and waited with anticipation. About five minutes after ordering, the strawberry shaved ice was brought to us. However, the zunda shaved ice did not arrive at the same time, so we decided to wait to eat it until our partner's came. However, the zunda shaved ice did not arrive even after 20 minutes, and instead, the shaved ice was brought to a customer who had entered the store about 10 minutes later than us. We thought this was strange, so we asked the staff if they had any orders, and they said that they were serving them in order, so please wait. Why did the shaved ice of the person who ordered after us arrive faster than us, even though we were the ones who ordered first? Is it really the result of serving them in order? I don't know if that's actually the case, but I thought that the order might have been missed for some reason. If they had been clear about this, I would have thought it could be helped, but in the end the shaved ice was brought 30 minutes late, and they didn't tell me why it was late. Also, I thought there might be some kind of explanation when I was paying, but it seemed like they were doing training for new employees, so I was made to wait about 3 minutes to pay, and of course there was no explanation or apology. Normally I wouldn't think anything of it, but the fact that the food was delayed and there was no explanation made me very angry. I will never go to any of the stores in this chain again. I feel sorry for the shaved ice shop that is collaborating with us.

Last night's visit to the izakaya was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to its brilliant cocktail offerings and a menu that left us more than impressed. The cocktail menu was a highlight, featuring an array of creative concoctions that were both refreshing and innovative. One particularly memora...ble drink was a yuzu-infused whiskey sour, which provided a zesty twist on a classic, balancing the sharp citrus with the smooth depth of whiskey. The food was equally remarkable, especially the cutlet stuffed with oozing, creamy cheese which was perfectly breaded and fried to a golden crisp. Each bite was a perfect harmony of crunchy texture and rich flavors, complemented wonderfully by a side of grated daikon that added a fresh, clean contrast. The service was attentive without being intrusive, with staff members who were enthusiastic about their recommendations and genuinely seemed to enjoy their role in enhancing our dining experience. In conclusion, this izakaya is a must-visit for anyone with a penchant for finely crafted cocktails and superbly executed dishes. It’s an ideal spot for a casual yet sophisticated outing, where the drinks are as much a draw as the delicious food.
