This place is an absolute scam. DO NOT COME HERE FOR FOOD. We came here for yakitori based on my Apple Maps directions and rating from Trip Advisors rating. It was hard to find which was ok because many small places are hidden. As we sat down the waitress showed us the menu which showed different di...shes and their prices. She the told us dinner is by “course “ ONLY. The course is a 7 course which has salad, soup , some specialty dishes and 7 yakitori skewers, and then some dishes at the end. All this for ¥5500. Even with the favorable exchange rates it comes to over $30.55 p/p which is absolutely ridiculous!!! I should’ve get up and left. Each dish food is no bigger than your thumb. Draft Beer is ¥800 when everywhere else is ¥500-¥600. We had to ask if my wife and daughter can share one course instead of having to order one course each. Our meal total came out to be ¥13,000 which is about over $72.22. I regret not getting up and just walked out as soon as I saw the prices because I thought it be considered rude but never again.

Great choice of sakes. Good tradition Japanese atomsphere. Must try some very fine and expansive sakes. Some of the bottles I don't usually buy because it costs over USD2,000 but you can have a glass there with less than 2,000 yen. Whole idea is to try a few different sakes or sakes that you intend ...to buy to see whether it's your glass of taste

We arrived full of hope as this place had been recomended by our hotel ( Park Hyatt ) and first impressions were good. Tucked away at the bottom of some steps it was full of locals. The room itself has 7-8 seats at the bar and 3-4 tables plus a small , very small private dining area. From there our ...experience went quickly downhill. Most of the tables were occupied by patrons who smoked and so the air become a thick haze of cigarette smoke and smoke from the grill in the kitchen behind the bar. Possibly acceptable in a large rom but not in something as small as this. The service was sour and surly and barely a smile was raised. they didn't have 3 of the dishes we ordered as they had run out despite it been only 9 pm. The chicken dishes we ordered were under cooked and still pink inside. We were charged a 680 YEN cover charge each for a small dish of pickled vegetables we had not ordered and for which there was no price on the menu. To cap off the evening a female patron vomited at our feet. We couldn't exit quick enough.

A friend of us recommended this tiny restaurant. A speciality is grilled chicken in several different ways. Try it, it's delicious. Friendly atmosphere, prices are ok for Tokyo.
