“Great food and experience”
Great night out with food cooked in front of us by Ayaka. Food is very different. We had a lovely omelette, spinach also some squid. We queued to get in but that was part of fun.

“Okonomiyummy”
Yummy and fun okonomiyaki that is made at your table standard style. I had a seafood mix and it was delicious. My friend had the bacon and it was very good. We didn’t have beer or any extras but it was great

“Cool experience ”
You have to be on time to get an table here. We just had to wait 10 minutes at lunchtime. We ordered the special Monja and the staff helped us preparing it. Taste was delicious but the drinks were to expensive. A cassis soda consisting of 3/4 ice cubes is 550 jpy. Anyway it was amazing and they have... an English menu.

“Great food that lived up to its reputation.”
This place comes highly recommended n we avoided the queue by going there at 445pm. My Wife n I enjoyed the Monja so much that we ordered another round. Price was very reasonable n we will strongly recommend it.

“Very good monja - be prepared to wait though”
Very good monja (savory pancake) place in Tsukishima, which is the mecca for monja yaki with 70+ restaurants battling it out in a fairly small neighborhood. In such a competitive environment, Kura is usually considered the best, if not top 3 by locals. As a result, the place is very popular so be pr...epared to wait...potentially an hour if you go during the busy period. Don't forget to write your name down on the waiting list in front of the restaurant. And a warning for when you wait: make sure you don't sit on the seats "owned" by the restaurant next to Kura as their proprietor gets pretty upset if you do! Anyway, once you finally get seated, they'll have a whole range of monjas and okonomiyakis and some other teppanyaki stuff you can order. We only tried the monja (pork/kimchee & mentaiko/cheese/mochi) and they were very good, though a bit salty for my taste. If you can't decide which kind of monja to try, just go for the "Kura special". By the way, as with most monja places here, customers are expected to cook on their own. But monja admittedly takes a bit of skill to make (more difficult than okonomiyaki). For our first monja, we asked for help from the waiter, who taught us the steps from beginning to end. They were pretty nice about it but the process was made easier because we could speak Japanese. I forget if they had an English menu.
