“Excellent Service and hearty food”
Visited tonight as a group of 18 people. We were uncertain if we were in the right place but a staff member came outside to enquire if we were [our reservations name] and yes we were. Drink orders arrived quickly and then salad, tofu, and another plate with daikon and something else which I unfort...unately do not know the name of. We were then presented with out nabe to cook over the gas cooker as well as some delicious grilled chicken. I cannot speak highly enough of the service, it was efficient and caring. We had a vegetarian in the group and the waitress took every effort to make sure anything ordered by him had no trace of meant. The food was not outstanding, but it was pleasant and hearty. The big downside for me is that they have a ‘smoking room’ which is not a room and the whole restaurant was covered in smoke which detracted from the overall experience of a bustling Japanese restaurant. There seemed to be many other groups enjoying a meal and I noted a few tables of ‘salary men’ clearly having after work celebrations. If they canned the smoking, would certainly visit again.

“Skip this one! Really poor food.”
Pretty bad. Ordered a few different dishes and all were poor. I ordered a breaded fried chicken dish and it was internally raw---sent it back and they did nothing. We also ordered a fried shrimp and vegetable concoction that was greasy and under cooked! Staff was inattentive and abrupt. Yikes----the...re is so much better in the area. Skip this one.
