“Super chawunmushi! Great sushi! Reasonable price!”
Not easy to find since it’s not on street level but it’s a walking distance from Shinjuku Station East Entrance. Good interior Japanese style and quite roomy. Staffs welcomed us warmly and services were attentive! I had the Kaisen Don lunch set! The fish are really fresh and delicious. Their Chawan...mushi is one of the best which has rich seafood sweetness and prepared with ginko & baby scallops. Tuna combo is excellent too. Since it’s a chain, I definitely have more confidence to try other locations. My husband encored for another Kaisen Don!

“Sushi surprise”
Our first trip to Japan found us staying close to this sushi bar. What a find! Very popular local spot, with multi lingual menu. Can recommend the Zanmai salad with sesame dressing along with the crab rolls and California rolls. We washed everything down with a refreshing iced Oolong tea. Not t...o pricey and very authentic.

Great electronic ordering process with English translation. There were a lot of foreigners there, probably for this reason. Foodcwas delicious, service was prompt and professional.

“The standard of Sushizanmai is always extremely high!”
It was our second time in Sushizanmai. This one is located on the third floor of a building, pretty difficult to find. The quality of the fish is always excellent. We order the Maguro-Zanmai Special (best tuna ever!) and a chirashi. Whatever you order, you will find it delicious. The staff is alw...ays very kind.
