“Tonkatsu”
Juicy tonkatsu with a lot of nice flavors. Loved trying out the different tonkatsu flavors and really enjoyed how we got one tonkatsu each.

“Cooked to perfection”
The tonkatsu here was delicious and I tried it first in a tour. Very juicy and goes excellent with the tonkatsu sauce (teriyaki sauce?). Also very nice area and open 24/7

“Delicious and convenient”
One of the best tonkatsu in Tokyo, right on a busy walkway in Shinkjuku and best of all open until 2:30am everyday! It's great value and the tonkatsu is always cooked to perfection.

“Service?”
Came in looking to get good food for the family, but was greeted with Super terrible bad service gotten from two staff. One of the waitress gave a Super bad impression as she was not only not apologetic, it was very obvious that all the excellent service provided was to the locals. They assume that ...we are from China and provide terrible service, talking among themselves and providing contradicting information among themselves when asked. As well as pretending they could not understand a single word we said when we ask for manager or name for feedback. It was lucky for that one particular staff who is terrible that the manager came up eventually, came and gave us the most sincere apologies to my family. Kudos to the manager but not the staff. 1 star for the service but gave 2 stars due to the manager name Sato. All the time we have been to japan, this was the worst.

“Juicy tonkatsu ”
Before arriving in Tokyo, my cousin, who was only here 2 weeks before, recommended Tonkatsu Niimura. I googled the place and starred it on Google map. However, on arrival, Tonkatsu Niimura became shabu shabu sukiyaki Niimura. The waiter was extremely kind and told me the tonkatsu restaurant is now w...here the karaokes are. Just 1 minute walk away, down a small lane diagonally from the Shabu shabu restaurant. And when I tried the tonkatsu, I found out why my cousin made the recommendation. Light and crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, this is very well made tonkatsu. Apparently it's somewhat of an institution. Recommended.
