If you find yourself around JR Tokyo Station in the middle of the afternoon and don't want to wait until 5:00pm for the other establishments in the area to open for their happy hour, Lad's Dining might be your best bet. Located along the row of restaurants under the tracks on the Maranouchi side of ...the station, it stands out with its colorful signs and pub-style atmosphere. After you pay the 410 yen cover charge (which gets you all you can eat popcorn), happy hour drinks start at 190 yen. The food menu includes items like pizza, fried chicken, vegetable sticks, and nachos. While all this makes for a pleasant session with friends, as another reviewer has mentioned, the staff must take lessons in how to be sullen and unresponsive. It is not a place to have friendly conversation with the waitresses, and you may need to ask multiple times before your order arrives. Personally I don't think it is a matter of being a foreigner, since all customers seem to get the same treatment.

Good food but seems to down prioritise foreginers. Staff ignores, and dont follow up orders. Once you get to order, they serve everyone else first. Meh, not worth the wait time.
