Jeez, I walked in and was hit by a wall of smoke - every customer (and I mean EVERY customer) was puffing away. Quite amazing in this day and age - Japan is very backward when it comes to clean-air-rights. Smokers rule the roost. Rather tragic as I really wanted to like this place - atmosphere is go...od, food decent, service ok. However, I just can't applaud a cut-smoke-with-knife sort of place. One day Japan will ban smoking in restaurants - hopefully in the not too distant future.
