“Delicious Char Siu BBQ, Shabu Shabu & Gyoza Kurobuta (Black Pork)”
Location: Near train station. Food: Delicious BBQ Char Siu, Shabu Shabu & Gyoza Kurobuta (Black Pork). Waiting time: 15-30min. Service: Attentive to serve the Shabu Shabu after we finished Char Siu & Gyoza. Lucky us! We got a seat on a Sunday evening! It was full with reservations.

“Must try pork shabu-shabu with delicious dashi soup”
Located on the second floor (you must go up the stairs so the place is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible) near Inokashira Park, facing a busy bus street that leads to the train station and to the opposite direction, the famous Ghibli Museum. The pork used for shabu-shabu is the famous Kagoshim...a-produced 'kuro-buta' but they also have an extensive menu, all of which are freshly prepared. The set menu is very reasonable, and you can order additional pork or vegetables if you have a big appetite. Shabu-shabu is often served with 'ponzu' sauce, but here you can enjoy dipping the meat into their excellent home-made dashi soup. The place is open late too.
