“Bad experience I ever had in Japan”
Bad experience, staffs attitude shows they are not welcoming customers or maybe I’m tourist? I never met any Japanese rude like this. At first, the reception don’t allow us to get the ticket for table, as they said they are fully booked, but after few minutes, they reissue the tickets without any a...nnounce, that’s already make no sense. After we order two sets of sukiyaki, the chef came to serve us, we want to keep memory of this moment, so my sister started to recording video, and the chef just stop us but there’s no any sign that tell us we can’t take video here, and the chef keep stalking our phone to make sure we are not taking videos instead of photos. And I ask for the rice politely, the staff just response WAIT! with the straight tone. Food is normal, taste was not extremely good but pricy. I’m not going to recommend this restaurant to anybody.

“Good beef sukiyaki”
We had lunch at Moritaya at JR Isetan Kyoto. It was good but pricey. It would have been better if we had ordered the more expensive beef sets but it would have been even more pricey. Overall, we had a good set lunch which began with starters, followed by the sukiyaki, rice with pickles and soup and ...then fruits. The restaurant also has a good view of Kyoto Tower.

“Pricy but really delicious food”
Went there with the family of three, a strong craving for great Japan beef and cuisine. Turned out to be a wonderful dinner choices, while overseeing the beautiful Kyoto Tower. Starting with cold dishes, Mizo soup, followed by the main dishes. Beef is juicy and soft, contains more fat, unlike the st...eak you eat in North America. It felt like meat melting in your mouth with rich flavors satisfying your every bud. The lady cooked for us seems in a hurry to remove our empty frying pans and dishes, which is the only negative impression to us of pushing us to finish the night. CAD330 for three, the most expensive dishes we had in Japan but in general it’s worth it.

“Decent high quality bbq beef with nice view”
Thai restaurant located on the top floor of Isetan in Kyoto Station. Even if you go as a group, you can only make one choice of either eating bbq or sukiyaki. “This is the most terrible dining experience I even got in Kyoto”
First of all, the waiter and the waitress were impolite - I mean, rude. If you want to have a meal here, be prepared. It is not worth to have dinner here just because it is famous - 4 stars on Tripadvisor. Secondly, it is definitely over priced. The food quality here is simply average and common. L...astly, it is way toooooooooo salty. Not recommend, and will never visit this restaurant again. I have a much better experience in 三嶋亭。A comment from a traveller who have been visited Kyoto for more than a dozen times! 首先，這家餐廳服務態度極差，絕對不值得因為網路評價高而來造訪，受騙感覺滿分；想來此用餐的人最好做好心理準備。第二，這家餐廳的價格與用餐品質不成正比，價格過高，餐品內容空虛，肉品偏上但仍一般。最後，壽喜燒調味過鹹。完全不予推薦也不會會再次造訪。過去在三嶋亭的用餐體驗遠比Moritaya好多了！
