Best shabu shabu in Japan for us. Plain broth, delicious slightly vinegary dipping sauce, sparse but perfect. The omi beef melts in your mouth. So delicious. Service was fine. It wasn’t as gracious as other places. Lovely interior and peaceful outside.

The food was ok but we couldn’t enjoy it. We came to Japan to celebrate my birthday with 8 of my friends. I made reservations & put down a deposit more than a month in advance for dinner. When we got there the first thing they told me was that we had to be out in 2 hours because they were closing at... 9:30pm and basically kept giving me a count down. We had paid for all you can drink and 1/2 hour before we left they said last call for drinks. It was very unpleasant & unprofessional. We couldn’t enjoy our night because of they were constantly annoying us. They could have contacted me before and told me these restrictions. They were very rude and I would not recommend going here.

We came here for dinner once and I would definitely recommend eating here. All the food was delicious and bursting with flavor. All of the food was super fresh super green and vibrant. The atmosphere was very cute with some nice jazz playing in the background. Ten out of ten definitely would come b...ack!

I have about 50 previous business trips to Japan but this was my first personal trip ever. I was traveling with my college aged son, as it’s been his dream to visit Japan and we stayed in both Tokyo and Kyoto on this trip. We arrived during Golden Week in Tokyo and were unsuccessful in finding a res...ervation for a good Shabu Shabu restaurant. After touring Kyoto for our second day, we tried without a reservation to go to this restaurant, and luckily they allowed us to dine without a reservation. It was a rainy slow Tuesday but that was perfect for us. We were in touring clothes with our back packs, and I would have loved to have been dressed more formal, but the staff still treated us like royalty. The food, ingredients, and instructions were fantastic. Previously I had been told to cook the vegetables first. This time the staff encouraged us to start with the beef first which created a savory broth for the vegetables and udon noodles. The beef was very high quality and the vegetables were very fresh and meticulously selected. The sashimi pairing and shrimp with okra tasting was fantastic. The view of the traditional garden from our seats was beautiful and the staff were very attentive. This was our nicest dinner on our trip to Japan.

The atmosphere and service was fantastic. We heard the shabu-shabu is nice, but tried the sukiyaki lunch. The marbled meat was beautiful. It was a great experience.
