“Poor service accompanied by a cover charge.”
We waited 5 minutes for this place to open its doors. I guess the manager came out after 18:00 hours to move the closed sign but basically ignored us. Finally he asked if we were wanting to go in. This was after the posted time. There is a cover charge to this place to get a drink, FYI. We ordere...d a highball with makers and a glass of wine. I went to the bar to ask if they had sweet vermouth and Agathe or bitters to see if they would make me a Manhattan. This after all is a whiskey bar. I was told they didn’t. From that point on we were ignored. I got pissed and paid out and left. Don’t waste your time with this place. They can’t even make a decent old-fashioned for what it looked like on their menu.

“Maker mark”
OK, if you are a connoisseur of Makers Mark whiskey, this spot should surely be on your list. Their recommended highball, consistent Makers Mark and tonic, and it was surprisingly delicious. The food is a little bit to be desired. The fish and chips actually looked nothing like the picture. And was... prepared with skin attached subsequently had a very very strong, fishy taste, not to our palette’s liking. The corn beef appetizer actually comes on saltine crackers. It was OK but nothing to write home about. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

“Hidden gem but min charge per person”
A wonderful bar with a good local vibe. Great place to enjoy Japanese whiskey with friends. The bar implements a per person charge but that includes snacks. Each of us had a few drinks, so this amounted to what would have just been a tip.

“Good find.”
We we're walking to our hotel and spotted this place. It's slightly cheeky where you pay 500 yen per person but that includes snacks. Despite the name of the bar there wasn't a great selection of drinks. It's a fun place and has a nice vibe.
