I like this place especially on the 2rd level which is more comfortable and the spacious . Food is of average taste and nothing to shout about . Ambience is good but staff is not so approachable as they are short of staff .

Visiting with our children and their grandparents and had a wonderful evening. The children loved the chicken wings and agreed with the grownups that the salads were beautifully dressed. Aesthetically pleasing and delicious to eat. The seared beef is really tartare but utterly delicious as long as y...ou expect it to be very cold, the salmon was also delicious. The only thing left unfinished was the marinated firefly squid which even the avid seafood eaters amongst us could not quite stomach. The drinks were great - especially the Yuzu Squash. The price was amazing!

I visited with my sister and we were pleasantly surprised. I had a pasta dish that was out of this world. It had just the right amoubt of spice and was very rich and creamy. I also had a matcha alcoholic beverage that was soooo good and refreshing. The food took a little while to come, but it was w...orth it. The atmosphere was very chill, perfect after a day of site seeing. The staff was so kind too. My sister and I wanted karaoke and they found us a place, called us a cab and gave us an umbrella. Even though the staff did not speak much English, they went above and beyond to make sure our experience was pleasant.

I was walking back from Byodoin temple to Uji station and found this place. Entered and asked for English menu. They had it and I was so luck that one available sit at the counter was waiting for me. The food took a little to come as the place was full due to golden week. Food was extremely good. I ...couldn't believe that. The waitress treat me very well even with not that much English. I definitely need to go back. When I saw no reviews in English I decided to write it right away! If u r in Uji don't lose the opportunity to eat a great Japanese food.
