“Hidden gem”
Wouldn't have found this wonderful place if not for a helpful guide. Not on Google Maps and has everything written in Japanese although serving staff do speak a bit of English. What you get is Kyoto kaiseki cuisine adjusted with the season, served as a 9-10 course fixed menu. As it was autumn, we ha...d Sanma fish served as sashimi as well as saba(grilled). It was a busy night but the place had several cubicles, so it didn't seem crowded. The place to go if you want to try local cuisine at an affordable price. About 5000yen per head.

“Very nice authentic Kyoto restaurant”
You will be able to enjoy authentic traditional Kyoto dishes which includes seven to nine different items from fish to beef with various vegetables. Also they serve 30 different sake and 20 different shotyu. You may need to come with someone who speaks Japanese.
