“Must have fish tempura”
Wow this place was such a fantastic find so good we ate here two of the three night we had in Kyoto. Very close to the Ace hotel we found based on the small number of reviews and we were soooo impressed. There was a chef and one person helping we got seats looking over the kitchen the first time a...nd counter seats the second time. The food was brilliant the tempura fish was literally to die for three serving and only wish we could have had more. The other dishes also great, wagyu beef was melt in the mouth and the fish carpaccio was beautiful. Equally fab was the sashimi. Amazing food, friendly host on both evenings and a witty chef despite language barrier. Do not miss the chance to visit here.

“A Hidden Gem for Locals”
Outstanding food. Very nice, brand new interior. Great selection of sake and whiskey. Try the fries and momma’s fried chicken. To die for. Better than anything in Ace Hotel a block away at a fourth the cost. Packed with locals at lunch.
