Ibaraki Prefecture is renown for its great pork. I love this restaurant, where you can enjoy wonderful Shabu Shabu of Pork from Ibaraki and other prefectures. Especially, it7s delicious when we add Yuzu, Sansho, etc. to their unique soups. They also serve different Sake from around the country.

This was the second time my wife and I ate here this year and both times we enjoyed first class and decoratively presented Japanese food. Choosing to sit at the counter, we had a birds eye view of our chef skillfully preparing the numerous dishes we and other customers ordered, and everything we sel...ected was as delicious as it looked. The buta no kakuni, grilled agi and tofu were standouts in an excellent dinner. Service was friendly and prompt and the restaurant had a nice ambience; the various alcoves and side roons being an attractive feature. Prices are not the cheapest but we thought very good value. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed and there is little English spoken (none on the menu) but don't let this put you off from a highly recommended dining experience.
