“Pretty standard”
We are staying at the Mandarin Orientsl. The concierge sent us over, as it was across the road and “family friendly’. The sushi was ok. Nothing specia, or beyond what we’d get at an average sushi spot in LA.. Ordered the omakase and was unimpressed. Certainly not worth the price.

An excellent Sushi restaurant which ia popular among local people but definitely deserves more than a Michelin star! The quality of ingredients are top notch, the chef is true master in his craft. Price / quality ration is excellent. I highly reccomend.

“Superb meal”
We visited for our first sushi meal of our honeymoon trip to Japan and it was well worth it. We hadn't booked so were sat up at the bar area but I quite enjoyed this as we got to watch them preparing the sushi. The staff were very attentive and the food was lovely. We have set menu number 2 which in...cluded a grilled fatty tuna sushi which was melt in the mouth good. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal and couldn't recommend it more!

“Amazing Sushi”
After a 3 week trip in Japan this place sealed the experience and was the best sushi I had whilst in Japan.

“Typical sushi place”
Recommended by staff at Mandarin as we couldn’t get into their sushi restaurant, but no matter what, it gave you a true taste of Japanese culture and service. They gave us a table with a sunken floor so I wouldn’t have to sit on the floor. Good tuna rolls (5 to an order) and sashimi. Sake or ashii ...beer goes well with it all. Moderate expense, but normal for a city I
