“Gem in the middle of Shinjuku”
We stumbled up this place after not being able to get into several other Italian restaurants. Wow, thank goodness we found this place. We spend several months in the summer in Japan and we've eaten at several Italian restaurants when we are craving pasta. Japan has it's own take on Italian, but wow ...was this place good. We had the bolognese sauce pasta, gnocchi, arrabiata sauce pasta and the carbonara. I had the carbonara and it was one of the best I've had in all of Japan. Creamy, but not too creamy, rich tasting and the bacon was not limp and lifeless like they make it in almost all Japanese restaurants. I hope we can find this place again next time we are in Tokyo.
