We had 4 of our breakfasts here as hotel guests. The breakfast experience was generally poor, for several reasons: a. The restaurant was always busy and hectic, no matter at which time we arrived. b. The service was VERY slow and the staff seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of people. c. The din...ers were directed to a nearby restaurant when the main hall was full. d. The actual buffet was VERY small in comparison to other Conrad hotels. e. No fresh juices were available (unless you're willing to buy them separately). That's unacceptable for a high-end hotel such as the Conrad. f. All the pastries were cold and were not kept warm under special heat lamps.

IF YOU ARE ALL SUSHI OUT AND WANT SOME AMERICANA TRY THIS CUTE SPOT….FOOD IS VERY GOOD AND SERVICE IS VERY GOOD…MENU HAD A LITTLE BIT OF EVERY THING….FROM TRADITIONAL BURGERS TO PASTA BOLOGNESE….PORTIONS WERE A LITTLE BIT BIT LARGER THAN EXPECTED. WE TRIED GUMBO & CLAM CHOWDER SOUP BOTH VERY GOOD…CE...ASAR SALAD AND CLUB SANDWICH WITH FRIES THAT WAS REALLY LARGE SO WE TOOK OFF MOST OF THE BREAD! HAD A BOTTLE OF JAPANESE WHITE WINE THAT WAS LIGHT AND REFRESHING….

We ate breakfast here every morning during our stay at the Conrad Tokyo. The service was just ok; I think they were understaffed. We tried their lobster omelets and crab eggs benedict, which were ok. In Japan, egg dishes are very soft and runny, but I think it’s so they don’t get overcooked. The cho...colate pancake was nice and fluffy. I loved the strawberry matcha pastry. Coffee service was very slow too. I thought offering tacos during breakfast was an inter choice, but my son loved it! The choices were pretty good. We also ate here for dinner. We had the seafood meal which came with lobster, mussels, and fish. The lobster sauce was good and the mashed potatoes was creamy. The sandwiches and burgers were substantial and the fries were very well seasoned. Dinner service was much faster and the food was pretty tasty.

Unable to reserve a table for our preferred time partly because of staff failure to inform of amended seating timings because of anticipated large numbers. Anticipated that is for guest numbers but not matched by appropriate staffing levels. Service was woefully slow as was food service after order...ing. Given the high prices, the food quality ought to have been much better. A steak sandwich was very poor as the meat, requested as medium rare came that way on one side of the small pieces but horribly overdone on the other.

Excellent choice for all day.The breakfast is really excellent, with a great variety of food and drinks. Their eggs benedict are simply perfection. Good dinner menu, with dishes from the China Doll and the Japanese restaurant.
