My friend and I stopped by here during our visit to Harajuku. It was raining and cold, so we decided to check this place out as it was close by. The food is buffet style with one main (the buffet is for salad, tea, etc) . It averages to about 1000-1500 yen depending on what you order. It’s average a...nd it gets the job done if you’re looking to rest a bit and have some food.

Takeshita street at Harajuku station is a very unique place. The front street is always crowded with young hippy crowds and shops.The back alleys is filled with interesting specialty shops and cafes. The Blue Garden cafe serve buffet starters with one main course at about 1000yen. One of the cheapes...t meal we had in Tokyo!! It is located on the second floor so made sure you check the restaurant name before you enter. Happy eating!

After 2 hours shopping with 3 young daughters on the famous Kawaii street, I really needed an oasis of calm, a coffee, a nice lunch and chance to sit down and recharge my batteries. I found all this and more at Blue Garden. The staff were friendly and welcoming, translated the menu for us and served... up a tasty lunch with a soup, salad and drinks buffet (top up as much as you like). This restaurant is quite large by Japanese standards - so large it even hosts weddings! So, this is a good pick if you are traveling with a large family or group. I imagine your chances of getting a table are quite high. Lovely green outlook, with alfresco dining for warm weather. A solid choice.

Ii stumbled across this open air restaurant, and it was a great find for lunch, totally hidden from Takeshita St, but one block away. There were a few main course selections plus a small salad bar with fresh veggies, miso soup, iced tea, hot tea and bread. Everything was delicious and it was only $1...1.
