“Simple, but delicious”
Ended up eating here twice in the 4 days I spent in Fukuoka. It is a relatively small place in a busy part of the city. The ambiance and decor are very good. Very hot, charcoal fired grill in the middle of the place. They have a food menu in English, but not a drink menu. However, I speak no Japan...ese so I was impressed with how friendly everyone was and how helpful everyone tried to be. It is basically small plates for sharing. We tried the Chicken Meatballs (outstanding), the broiled chicken (also outstanding), and the egg cake (very good). Everything was top notch and reasonable priced. Also tried sake (not sure what kind - all in Japanese) and a draft beer (Asahi perhaps?) All in all, it was a wonderful experience. N*joy...
