We had dinner here with a friend who lives not far away. She had booked us in , good thing she had as the place was super busy, people were coming and going the whole time we were there. Our friend has known this place for over 60 years so it is obviously doing the right thing to have survived this ...long. Great staff, like the owners nice and friendly. It is a chicken Yakatori restaurant but you can also get fish and other meats plus veggies. We ordered and tried many different dishes, all came out freshly cooked on skewers, some of the dishes we had were, chicken breast, liver, meat balls , prawn,sardines, beef tongue, Ginko tree nuts. pork, fried tofu, chicken skin, chicken grizzle, potatoe. All very enjoyable, we also had horse meat which I have never seen or tasted before, we had it as sashimi, it was raw and very red lean meat. Not exactly my cup of tea, found it not very tasty and very chewy but it was a new experience. Along with all the above we had lots of raw cabbage. A good night, good food and atmosphere. Well done to the family for being in business for soo long.

this is the best yakitori place in fukuoka with great atmosphere, great food, not too pricey, very friendly staff, must go if you want a great night out.

We were looking for a good Yakitori place and found this on TripAdvisor. It is a bit off the beaten path, a little walks away from the hakata station / canal city area. When we got there we were seated upstairs. The food was a bit disappointing, as it was not really that good. The meat was missing t...he smoke flavor. Also, people were smoking upstairs, so I would avoid bringing kids here. We had high hopes for this place when we saw it on TripAdvisor, but now we regret coming here.

Nobuhide is off a small street behind the Hakataza Theater. I was walking back to my hotel (Hotel Okura) and the smell of food coming from this joint really caught my attention. It definitely smelt delicious and I had to go in. They have an English menu, however you don't really need it cos you coul...d point to what you would like grilled. Furthermore, some wait staff are able to comprehend English. The yakitoris are reasonably priced but what I could not stop ordering was their Chicken balls. Yummy .... Yummy...I think I'm kinda off addicted to them as they are really tasty. The Chef owner is a very hospitable man as he performed 2 or 3 magic tricks to entertain us. Quite showman he is. This is a great joint for having dinner. Will return if staying in the hotel nearby.
