“best atmosphere with locals”
this is the best yakitori place in fukuoka with great atmosphere, great food, not too pricey, very friendly staff, must go if you want a great night out.

“Disapponting”
We were looking for a good Yakitori place and found this on TripAdvisor. It is a bit off the beaten path, a little walks away from the hakata station / canal city area. When we got there we were seated upstairs. The food was a bit disappointing, as it was not really that good. The meat was missing t...he smoke flavor. Also, people were smoking upstairs, so I would avoid bringing kids here. We had high hopes for this place when we saw it on TripAdvisor, but now we regret coming here.

“Lovely Yakitori Joint”
Nobuhide is off a small street behind the Hakataza Theater. I was walking back to my hotel (Hotel Okura) and the smell of food coming from this joint really caught my attention. It definitely smelt delicious and I had to go in. They have an English menu, however you don't really need it cos you coul...d point to what you would like grilled. Furthermore, some wait staff are able to comprehend English. The yakitoris are reasonably priced but what I could not stop ordering was their Chicken balls. Yummy .... Yummy...I think I'm kinda off addicted to them as they are really tasty. The Chef owner is a very hospitable man as he performed 2 or 3 magic tricks to entertain us. Quite showman he is. This is a great joint for having dinner. Will return if staying in the hotel nearby.

“Fun experience ”
Exactly the type of place we like...small family run business, on a small side street, with very tasty yakatori, draught asahi, and what I would consider traditional decor. The menu is in English but you can also just point at the yakatori on display to make your selection. Our favorites were the ch...icken meatballs, garlic, chicken wings and beef yakatori. The owner was lots of fun, doing his magic tricks for us and proudly showing us his restaurant featuring in a local magazine. Would go back in a heartbeat.
