“Awesome chicken hotpot... ”
Great traditional restaurant (from a Western perspective). I love the the Japanese way of showing respect while maintaining dignity and self-respect. I fully embrace the removing of shoes and sitting on the floor - it makes us all equal. Good food and traditional service !!!

“Mizutaki a traditional dish of Hakata”
Mizutaki a hot pot with chicken soup is a traditional local dish of Fukuoka so try it if you are here. Depending on the number of side dishes and sashimi there are 3 basic sets. We choose the most basic at 2900 yen per pax. It comes with an appetiser, chicken minced meat made into chicken balls, chu...nks of chicken, vegetables including cabbage and greens. You get a choice of noodles or rice to add in the soup after that. A free added serving of the flavorful chicken soup is given. It's comforting drinking the collagen full soup especially on a cold autumn's night. There are several branches in Fukuoka. Reservations are recommended.
