“Great evening”
Nice experience, such a cool combinion of times cultures food everything very very well mixed together in something great. Friendly experienced and fast staff. Absolutely worth a visit.

“How Do You Forget to Serve Rice in Okinawa?”
All tables geared to teppanyaki, which can be an interesting experience, however, how does one forget to serve rice in Japan? My wife and our friends ordered shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and it came out smoking via dry ice and a blue concoction accompanied it, so it was aesthetically pleasing. Br...ead or fried rice was offered with the meal and my wife and I opted for the rice while our friends chose bread. They cooked the bread on the grill and we thought the rice would accompany the meal, but no rice appeared. The steak, sans rice, was tasty and cooked to my specifications but they we pretty sheepish when we informed them about the missing rice. Would I return? Maybe, however, Sam’s by the Sea is our preferred choice of the chain.

“Tourist Trap”
Was looking forward to steak and seafood. Dinner started with salad and navy bean soup. Chef prepared vegetable and steak at the table. Cocktail shrimp came in a glass dish with dry ice. They completely ruined the grouper and lobster with their “sauce”, came from the kitchen after all other play...ed items. Grouper had a lemon mayonnaise sauce and lobster mayonnaise crustacean sauce - absolutely discussing. Never again unless seafood can come plain with lemon wedge at the most.

“Pleasant Experience though pricy”
It's a Teppanyaki experience. The chef who cooked for us was brillant though the service was left to be desired (not as ideal as what we have gotten in Japan). At times we had a feeling that we were in Philippines instead of in Japan. The food was good but price was very steep. The ambience was br...illant though rowdy.

My family and have eaten at Sam’s many times. It is a short walk from our house. There are a lot of tourists that come here as well. The food is good, not to expensive and the chef puts on a pretty good show while you’re eating. There are a few Sam’s restaurants scattered around the island and we ha...ve been to them all. The staff is really friendly and make us feel welcomed every time we come.
