My family have always loved the Sam’s restaurants. Our last dining experience at Sam’s Maui 7-27-2024 was not pleasant. The “chef” was not accommodating, rude, and seemed he did not want to be there. The food is always good, but Tin made the experience terrible for us. The waitress was wonderful!

I had the steak and despite being a good selection the meal seemed to be cooked in dribs and drabs so you didn’t get a full meal. A bit pricey but the steak was tender

沖縄、特に那覇市内で鉄板焼きやステーキを食べる時、すぐに目に入るのが、サムズグループのステーキ店です。いずれの店も人気店のため、特に夕食時は混雑は必至。待たずに食事をするのであれば、予約することをお勧めします。それでも注文及び給仕に時間がかかることが多くなるのを考慮すべきだと思います。 このレストランの一番の見どころと言えば、鉄板で食材を焼いて給仕するパフォーマンス。素早い手捌きで食材を切り、鉄板で焼き、味付けをします。ところどころ胡椒等の調味料の入れ物を手で起用に回しながら扱う様は必見！ 多くの人が、焼き加減よりパフォーマンスに注目してしまうのも分かります。勿論パフォーマンスだけのお店ではな...く、用意された食材や焼き加減も充分。楽しい沖縄の夜の食事を楽しめるレストランだと思います。家族や友人と一緒に訪れたいお店の一つです。 If you want to eat Teppan-yaki or Steak in Okinawa (especially in Naha city), you'll think of this restaurant. There are several restaurants of the same group in Okinawa, every restaurant is crowded at dinner, and you'll almost always be kept waiting. I recommend you to reserve your seat in order to enter the restaurant smoothly. Nevertheless, during congestion, you may be kept waiting for order and serving. The greatest highlight of this restaurant is the chef's performance when baking ingredients. They cut, baked and served ingredients with quick handling. Especially, you'll see using a seasoning container while turning it into a dexterity more than your dishes. Of course, this restaurant is not only a performance. All dishes are delicious, and grilling is sufficient. It will be memories of Okinawa's fun night.

On a five-day cruise out of Hong Kong, Naha was a six-hour stop and in between the ruins of the castle and an overload of kitschy shopping further along this street, our group of about 30 dropped into Maui Sam's for dinner. So, apologies in advance, I have no idea what the dinner would have cost if... we ordered ourselves, nor do I know what the experience would have been like if we were not essentially told (by the tour company, not the restaurant) to eat and get the heck out of there so we could move on. Having said that, the set meal turned out to be conventional teppanyaki but it sure was good. Meat, lobster (thermidor?), soup, salad, fried onions, other veg ... and in my whole life I have never seen such a meal done as quickly as they managed to do for us. That chef knows his twists and turns: we were in and out of there in roughly 18 minutes. Wow how I would have liked to relax, kick back, have a margarita or two, and enjoy it, but this is not the fate of such a tour group. Would I go back? Happily, but as a group of 2-4, not 30.

Good atmosphere...sort of Hawaiian style....very good beef. We ate here 3 nights because it was excellent. Best chef.. ask for Sameer (he's from Nepal ) Thanks Wyatt ( he's the Boss from Hawaii ) we had a great time. Good hospitality.
