“Near to the Hakata Station”
This place is actually good, but not reccomended for a big group. We were 16 pax and stuffed to a very small room without the AC and the room was very hot (even in winter time) 団体で来て、忘年会シーズンでお店はすごく忙しようでした。 奥の掘り炬燵部屋にぎゅうぎゅう詰に一つの部屋になんと16人！エアコンも換気扇も付いてなくて死ぬほど暑かった！ 登板焼きなので、お鍋と熱気で余計暑くなった。 登板焼きのお肉は他の...チェンと比べたら少ない気がしました。 1人前2500円税込

“Highly recommended ”
Fantastic food, great service and a really good atmosphere. We came here twice in our week-long stay in Hakata-ku. The crowd was a mixture of couples, single people, families and business groups.

“Loved this izakaya dinner!”
Kyushu Fukuoka seems to be a forgotten destination; especially so during/after the pandemic. Tourists have started to return, but there aren’t many current reviews on TripAdvisor & that doesn’t help!
We had a delightful dinner for 3 of us. English menu available on ipad! (the menu on their websit...e is a little outdated) Service was prompt & helpful.
The meal….
Salad - crispy bed of leaves topped with dried seaweed & this fantastic chewy kimchi flavoured dried meat that spiced up the salad perfectly!
Broiled Squid Sashimi - raw squid thinly sliced plus sliced onion too torched at the dinner table; the moment the squid started to curl, we were more then ready to eat. It was barely just cooked, not tough & overdone but nice & succulent.
Grilled Scallops topped with Ikura - indescribably good! (see photo!)
Cheesy Prawn Hotplate - fondue at your table, see the prawns turn pink & cheese melt then toss it altogether & eat, heavenly!
Deep-fried Spring Chicken done to juicy perfection served with a mayo dip.
Chicken Pot Meal - rice cooked with chicken cubes & vegetable
slices, flavoured with Jerusalem artichoke, best eaten with the unique chrysanthemum potato sauce
(nice meal ending)
And it wasn’t overpriced,
