“Nice atmosphere, tasty food”
We happened to stop by here after the fireworks festival. The restaurant serves a variety of food, including Japanese hot pot and typical Okinawian dishes. Service was a but slow but they have an English menu available. We ordered taco rice, agu pork and tempura of ulva. The empera was really tasty,... the agu pork steak was good as well but the taco rice was a bit disappointing as we had a really delicious taco rice 3 days prior.

“Really delicious food”
Definitely worth a try! You have to try the tempura of Ulva and don’t forget to order steak of Agu - a famous dish of Okinawa.

“2nd time in this restaurant, superb food and atmosphere”
Been here for two times, amazing staff, food. Patience staff teaches you how to do a proper Shabu Shabu, will be there again for sure if I return to okinawa for the third time.

“Soup recipe hasn’t changed in 10 years”
Unlike most of Japan, Okinawa’s diet isn’t foremost fish. Sure they eat a lot of it, but it’s the pork they’re famous for. One way to get your Okinawan pork fix would be to have a traditional Okinawa soba, which isn’t what Adan does. Adan is shabu shabu. You order some pork and cook it in a very ...light broth right at the table. After like 5 seconds in the pot, you drop the pork in your own bowl of soup and eat it. They soup is amazing. And reportedly, that’s why they’ve had the same recipe for something like 10 years or more. They do have an English menu now, but they don’t speak English to any grand extent. We ordered the pork loin and the pork belly and that was satisfying for 2 adults. When you run out of meat, they bring you soba noodles which again, you cook quickly in the pot at your table, and then transfer to you soup. Really filling and super tasty. I’d probably eat old shoe leather if you served it to me in that soup. As is also popular in Okinawa, you can get Sake that has been steeped with a snake. Kind of like how Mexico has the tequila with the worm in the bottle. In Okinawa, you can buy a bottle of sake with a snake in it. I forget what it’s called. It’s supposed to be good for you. I didn’t try it, but you can see I added a picture to show how Adan advertises it.
