A very busy restaurant where you MUST book especially if you want a private room (Horigotatsu) which is highly recommended. The selection and quality of the crabs (Kegani, Zuwai and Taraba) may not be of the same with those further up north of Japan (Hokkaido) but then it is not easy to find a crab ...specialty restaurant similar to Kanitsu Hakata here in Fukuoka. It was a pleasant dinner overall and service was up to standard and its what you would expect in Japan. I particularly like the crab soup based congee that was made towards the end of the meal. It definitely fills you up warmly. Would definitely recommend if you have a craving for crabs. Go for the set menu plus a few side orders if you have a few people.

The restaurant was full when we arrived at 8pm - luckily we had asked the hotel to book in advanced. Highly recommend travellers to make reservations. The restaurant atmosphere was good- it was packed with Chinese tourists. They had English menu was it was abit confusing so we had to ask a staff wi...th Basic English to help advise us. We finally ordered queen crab set each - at first we thought it maybe not enough but we were soo full in the end!! We were so stuffed!!! The crabs were so fresh and yummy. Delicious. Only disappointment was the crab rice porridge/congee in the end - it was very salty!! Hence we can only eat little of that. A recommended place for crab lovers.

dinner to try yummy crab feast. love the crab sashimi the most. the waitress is very pro and good services to serve us hotpot, crab congee. pricey but good food.
