沖縄郷土料理とすば 島時間

For a group of 3, we ordered two sets of agu pork shabu shabu,  pork knuckle, fried fish and a beer. The agu pork served were still half frozen and the soup base was too salty. The meal costs around 8200 yen which I find quite pricey given it's quality.   The worst was the attitude and unfriendly v...ibe of the male (presumably) manager. He made me feel unwelcomed. No greetings or a smile was given when we walked in although we were the first table for the night. He didn't changed our plates after we had our shabu shabu and even tried to take away that only plate when I was still having food. Overall, taking into account the worst service i have ever experienced in Japan, and there are similar if not better quality food in the region, this is definitely not a place i would recommend.

A nice meal of the duck starter, sushi and tempura. Most of the meal was delicious. One piece of fish in the sushi was tough. The tempura was light and tasty.

There's a lot to be said for restaurants within walking distance of home: everyone can drink if they want! Despite passing by this place many times, we hardly realised that it was an izakaya, perhaps because of all the work nearby on the Onna bypass road. But it's a very nice place, and we were impr...essed by the food and the service. We had the 12-course Okinawan sampler menu, which contains all the usual items including umibudo and mozuku, peanut tofu, pigs' ears, goya champuru, Okinawa soba along with some vegetable tempura and sashimi; in the end, we really had too much to eat! Others have commented that this works out a bit more expensive than average - with two beers apiece and a glass of the had-to-be-tried pit-viper liquor, the bill came to almost 12,000 yen, but we didn't feel cheated. We had a feast, for the eyes as well as the stomach. We will return, for sure.

Food is good and atmosphere is nice. We ordered set dinnerコース ,　あぐー豚の素焼き，島野菜と海ぶどうサラダ,　　　あぐーのしゃぶしゃぶ　と　ぐるくんの唐揚げ　と　飲み物。 ジューマミー豆腐が大好きでス。

Nice atmosphere, good staff and service. The food is great but prices a little higher than regular places on Okinawa but the location is in between tourist hotels so it makes sense. A great place to stop if you're up this way or heading home from up north. It was worth the stop.
