Like others we just stumbled across this place. It's has a good welcoming local feel. Seating outside and on mats indoors. The food was imaginative and tasty. All the restaurant and kitchen crew we met went the extra mile to make a great evening. There's nothing fake/plastic about this place it's v...ery local and enjoyable. Never change, you unique food and welcome sets you apart from boring tourist mass produce food.

Just a bit off from highway 58 in the southern suburb of Nago, Okinawa. Stretch of beautiful Weed Beach across the highway, from where you can enjoy beautiful sunset. Although the building is an OLD local house, the food (Korean) they serve is top-notch as well as the smile of staff. Visited ther...e two years in a row. About 50-minute drive to Churaumi Aquarium.

We were recommended this small and atmospheric local restaurant and were so glad we went. A great variey of fresh local ingerdients including the delicious marbled beef, are offered to barbecue at your table.. We had shrimp, sausages, corn, scallops, beef , a huge salad and rice all of the highest ...quality and very reasonably priced. A selection of drinks is also on the menu...we had beer and sake. The staff are charming and explain everything very well. They even surprised us with a birthday dessert (it had been my birthday a couple of days before, so this was probably prompted by our amazing hotel concierge) beautifully presented with accompanying song. We had a truly delightful evening and we would thoroughtly recommend this unique restaurant to anyone who wants an authentic Okinawan evening when visiting Nago. Tip: it is best to park in the Nago Citizen Beach parking a little further up the main road on the opposite side.

While a bit difficult to find this local small restaurant is in the old local house a bit pff the main toad in Nago. Its name “Grand Mom’s house” from Obanoya signifies that this place is so simple and down to earth place that you will really feel that you go to grand mom’s house for the meal. Its... beef and pork are fresh and really tasty and reasonably priced. Highly recommend for both meal and a real local Japanese atmosphere place.

From the moment you step out of your car you receive a warm welcome to this little "hole in the wall" restaurant, conveniently located on a small side street. The service is excellent and a little bell on each table ensures attentiveness. The meats are great cuts and the best deal is the tasting men...u for 13,800. Would add the potatoes in butter as a side for sure. A good choice of reasonably priced awamori complements the meal (after a few Orion drafts of course). Well worth the visit, we'll be back!!!
