“Best Beef Rice in Tenjin”
This place has the best beef rice for my whole trip in Fukuoka. You can order from the vending machine and with English menu. I ordered the pan fried beef with rice set which costs ¥850 which had lots of beef. The atmosphere is mostly business men having a quick meal. Definitely will come back f...or more.

“Value for yen at Matsuya:)))”
Really enjoyed their food and straightforward service. Locals and tourists eat here. Although the location on Google maps is wrong. It's right at the entrance of exit#1 of Tenjin Underground City, street level, along Showa-dori Avenue. Photos of Matsuya attached.

“Gyudon restaurant chain”
Matsuya is well-known for quick 'gyudon' meal. For this branch, you need to use vending machine which has Japanese and English subtitled. Average price per 1 beef bowl cost around 390 - 650 yen. This restaurant is located on the ground right in front of Tenjin subway exit 3b (Showa dori).
