“Excellent shabu shabu restaurant in Naha”
On the day of our arrival in Okinawa, about 15min walk from our hotel in Naha, we had a shabu shabu set dinner at Kou in Higamashi. Our group of 11 was placed in a special room with a long table where we could share and enjoy the food around three hot pots. Highlights included chicken sashimi (first... time for us, the chicken was light, slightly sweet and really tender), local Okinawan Agu pork and beef in hot pot, and Okinawan soba noodles cooked in the broth. Overall it was a great culinary experience, based on fresh local products and this restaurant is definitely a good address for travelers staying in central Naha.

“Best meal in Okinawa ”
Chanced upon this as it’s within walking distance from our hotel, and it turned out to be our best meal in Okinawa! The service is Top notch. The food is excellent, meat is Super fresh. - Goya champuru is the best I’ve tasted. - Chicken sashimi is excellent! I can’t even believe my tastebud that i...t taste so good. - - The chicken nanban is light and not greasy, the chicken meat is springy - Agu Pork shabu has nice marbling, it is SO GOOD, I don’t even feel greasy or oily - After the Shabu, the Chef came and added in rice and turned the broth into a wonderful porridge! 100% highly recommended
