“Pretty good yakiniku”
The food was not bad, but nothing special compared to other places in the area and a little bit more expensive. Service did not seem particularly interested, but not too bad either.

“Yummy melt in your mouth beef”
The Ishigaki beef was so good. The fat was well marbled and melt in your mouth. The set of 5 different kinds of wagyu was only around 7500 yen and is definitely enough for 2-4 people. We came back twice in 2 days. Service was good and friendly, even though staff didn’t speak English well. We used Go...ogle translate/ conversations and it was totally fine. Probably the best beef we’ve had in a while!

“Good Meat, Priced for the location”
It's hard to screw up great meat that you just have to cut and the customer cooks themselves. And these guys did not screw it up. But, you can get the same quality elsewhere for about 40% less. The service was not great. One guy was good and knew what he was doing and talking about. But the younger ...staff were all a little gruff and disorganized. Won't be back.

“Out of the world!”
The bbq (yakiniku) is definitely a more economical choice if you just want to focus on the beef. I love the ‘selected sirloin butt’ (特選イチボ) most. If you would like to have a good mixture of three types of cuts, then do look out for the ‘selected three kind of assorted meat’ in the menu. Amount of be...ef is the same as the ala carte. And it’ll save you 1,800 yen Tried the teppanyaki too. The non- beef dishes are delicious in the set meal. An amazing place that exalts beef :) and the Chef makes sure the best way to have the beef done is done perfectly. Worth the price if you want the beef done to its best potential.

“Amazing steak!”
The woman in the ferry terminal at Ishigakijima recommended this place if we were after meat. You would never find it otherwise. We were seated at a counter while the cooking took place before our very eyes: this is a teppanyaki place. We ordered Ishigaki tenderloin cooked very rare. The meal had de...licious little starting morsels followed by soup and salad and vegetables but the beef was the star turn. I had never in my life had such melt-in-the-mouth delicious meat. A knockout. But Kobe beef is legendary and I dare say that those of you who are used to it wouldn’t have found anything extraordinary here , but it was for me, at 74, my first experience. Washed down with a couple of beers and coffee and dessert the bill was over 10,000 yen a head, but very satisfying and performed with grace and charm. A memorable evening.
