Nine Doors 〜restaurant＆grill

Had dinner here and it was excellent. The grilled meats are very good, if you are staying in the hotel then I do suggest trying this place. We tried 3 different cuts and all were cooked to perfection and the wood fired grill gave a superb flavour. The staff were very kind and helpful given we a...re very limited in our Japanese! The wine was good and the food was very very good. We would be happy to go back! There are not many places that serve this sort of wood fired grilled meat in a hotel of all places! We had in total 2 starters (shrimp and blackened beef) which were very good, light and flavourful. Then we had the special which was rib and 2 extra cuts one of top side and one of shoulder which were also outstanding and cooked to perfection. What I really liked was that the 3 cuts had their own texture and flavour. The wood grill background flavour was super. The side dishes of seasonal vegetables were also very complimentary to the meat and we enjoyed the whole meal with 2 cocktails and 3 glasses of wine. Total bill was around £120. Its very good value. We were planning to have desert but after that we were just too full. After the meal we went to look at the grill and its a very impressive set up with a huge pile of fire wood and the chef was very keen to talk to us and was very enthusiastic. Thanks to you all.
