鉄板焼ステーキ 一ッ葉ミヤチク

This is the first restaurant we attended on a long tour. I can say I was highly disappointed at this restaurant. I was expecting a highend Teppanyaki experience in the land of the world’s best tasting wagyu. I have been to a few higher end teppanyaki restaurants to compare to. Upon entering the re...staurant I immediately noticed a weathered and tired ambiance. But the food should do the talking. The service first. Our chef was disinterested and uninspired. In fact he said he has been doing this too long. Not a happy camper. The food. It reminded me of a Benihana or Sizzlers steakhouse. You had to serve yourself to the salad and beverages at a buffet table. What? The main course, the Wagyu. Miyazaki is world famous for their high grade beef. A rivalry with Kobe beef. But what we were served wasn’t high grade beef. Sadly it was mediocre and a little over grilled. I don’t like writing negative reviews but reading all the glowing reviews I had to counter those reviews.

My wife and I had the special Loin steak course (150g) and it was absolutely prepared to perfection. Service was fantastic especially since we are American's and do not speak Japanese. The meat melted in our mouth. We started with seafood appetizer and I recommend getting the fried rice not the ...white rice. Great price value for the meal.

Just delicious... We came here for lunch without reservation and were lucky to get a seat. The beef quality is just superb.

The beef is cooked to the perfect doneness. It melts in the mouth. And this is expected. The surprise is in the bread dessert. A must try.

Went for lunch. They do have English menu. The Miyazaki Wagyu was good. Value for money. Staff were friendly. Fried rice was awesome! Keep it up!
