“Found a hidden gem in Naha!!!!!”
OMG, this place is the bomb! Again, decided to venture slightly off the main drag of Naha looking for a nice izakaya. Chanced upon Ryuka and faith must have brought me here. My first impressions were mixed, I walked in to see if they had an English menu. They did not. Asked in anyone spoke Engl...ish, they did not. Despite this, decided to take a chance and I'm sooooooo glad I did. The food was beyond comprehension! Ordered a sashimi platter and the clam literally melted in my mouth! The food was delicious but it ranked (in my book) a distant 2nd compared to the hospitality I received. All the workers were extremely friend but Honoka was beyond amazing! Long story short, I ended up enjoying the hospitality of 3 separate dinner groups of locals. What my extremely limited Japanese and Honoka's limited English, this evening is the highlight of my stay in Naha so far. I will be here a few more days and will definitely make a return visit.

“Wow - great find!!”
Wandered randomly down a back-alley and found this place - so glad we did! Food was beautiful - setting was lovely, and great staff! Every dish we tried was amazing - the pork (rafutei) was to die for!! We had 4 dishes and were full - but ordered a fifth because it looked so good (and tasted great t...oo!) On top of all that - your choice of 55 different awamori - fantastic! All in all - a fantastic find - will recommend to all our friends who visit this way.
