“The best Toriten in the town !”
We tried Chinese dishes here including sour pork, fried rice and ebi-chili…but the best was the Tori-ten (chicken tempura). Toriten is the local’s popular dish and this restaurant nailed it…so soft meat that almost melts in the mouth but crisp fried. So good !

“Good restaurant for meat/fish”
We are here a couple of times during our rugby world cup trip to Beppu. Good selection of traditional dishes that appeal to our western palates - steak with garlic, pork/chicken tempura, grilled shrimps etc. Service was efficient and pleasant rather than warm. Prices were very reasonable. So a g...ood option in Beppu if you aren't a big sashimi/sushi lover.

“Nom nom Beppu Toriten! ”
Delicious Beppu Toriten (fried chicken) and pork Katsu! The meat is so tender that it melts in your mouth! The owners are really friendly and the atmosphere was very local! Really recommend!

“Foods is Superb”
The restaurant is in a very nice setting and clean. The staff is friendly. We ordered grill menu with extra soup for five people. The grill me nu come in stone coating pan look nice when serve with vegetable. This is Korean restaurant in Beppu. The restaurant locate near Pacinko and it is easy ...to find parking space. The Miso soup and Kimchi soup is very nice. I am highly recommend this restaurant for family and friends.

“Good Pork Katsu”
Didn't mean to visit this restaurant but opted for it after realising Toyotsune was closed. We thought the food was surprisingly tasty and the service was good. The staff spoke very little english but enough to communicate, english menu is available though. 100g Bungo sirloin was 3,900 yen, this wa...s nicely cooked; Loin Pork katsu set was 1,200 yen, this one I would recommend as the panko fried pork was very tender and the portion is worth the price.
