“We could find a better place.”
We found this place on the Internet. Website makes it look a very old style and more or less a high-end restaurant. It is located at the Ginza 4 Chome, that is a very expensive shopping spot in Tokyo. The taste was just fine, not amazing. The service was subpar to be honest. Comparing to other ...nicer Kushi Age places I've been to, they served it so fast that we had to keep up with it otherwise the food gets cold. The waiting staff was not that impressive. I thought that the dress code for this restaurant was at least "Country Club Casual" and above, but actually many patrons were in their jeans and t-shirts. We were expecting something more special that night, we were dissappointed for that..

“Good place to taste authentic Japanese cuisine”
The place offers chef’s recommended skew where you can stop whenever you are full. Allergic things, the restaurant will listen and serve something different during the course. The oil they use is fresh so the food will not stay so much although they are deep fried. Recommended to take non Japanese g...uest for them to enjoy Something other than Sushi, Tempura.

“Always good”
The skews here are quite tasty where I recommend chef special where they will bring the skews until you say “I’m full”. Meats, fish and vegetables are all fried to its best taste, depending on the season.

“Excellent place”
We ate here really well and typical Japanese style. It’s food on skewers but not yakitory which is grilled. This is like tempura but the skewers are all first batter coated and then bread crumbs go also on them before deep frying. The variation of food on the skewers was amazing. All kinds of co...mbos of meat and veggies but also veggies alone and even a whole asparagus Nearly no tourists here which was also nice. A new favorite in Ginza !

“Consistently Delicious”
Had the opportunity to dine at Isomura again during my latest trip to Tokyo, and it did not disappoint. We went for the 12-skewer omakase (chef's choice) course, and it was perfect. Just enough to be satisfied but not over-stuffed. And every skewer, as expected, was delicious. Kushiage and Kushikats...u is big right now, but the fast-food style and Osaka-style kushikatsu -- which I actually like it for a quick and inexpensive snack -- can't compete with the likes of Isomura in terms of quality. And the setting, in the heart of Ginza, is excellent as well. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Tokyo.
