ＤＵＢＬＩＮＥＲＳ’ＩＲＩＳＨ ＰＵＢ 池袋

I brought a Japanese friend to visit here - to get a flavour of an Irish pub, food, music etc. Firstly, the music was so low that it was virtually impossible to hear it. There was no atmosphere or ambience in the place - just cold and unwelcoming. When we were served our beers they were completely f...lat, no foam / head. Filled to the brim with what looked like 'slops'. I asked the waitress to top them up but she didn't know what I meant / my Japanese friend then told me that she was wearing a badge saying 'trainee' in Japanese. The floor manager was aware that we were unhappy yet never approached us to ask if he could help. We left after 10 mins leaving barely touched (expensive) pints behind us. Avoid this place.

The beer and food was very good. Had the fish and chips. very good food. Staff was very friendly. i would dine here again.

My friends took me out for a dinner at this restaurant. It's a large hall that had non-smoking and smoking areas. They reserved a table at the far corner of the non-smoking area. I could smell the smoke a couple of times, but it wasn't too bad. Four of us ordered water and the other two ordered ...beer. We ordered various kinds of dishes and shared among us. The red salmon pizza was crispy, but the seafood pizza was soggy. We noticed that the food was very salty in order to accompany beer. As they didn't serve water in a jug or in a bottle, we had to keep on asking a glass of water. The atmosphere was good and the staff was pleasant and helpful.
