YEBISU BAR 銀座コリドー街店

Disclaimer: I had marked this incorrectly as the yebisu beer museum on my traveling map. It is not, and it is not it's fault. Reasons for a 2: I didn't really care for the atmosphere, it was a bit cavernous and dark. As an aside the waiter was very surprised (annoyed maybe?) we didn't want to order... some meat, seemed disappointed we were just having a couple of beers and peacing out.

Yebisu is my favourite Japanese beer, but most restaurants only seem to serve Asahi, Sapporo and Kirin, so it was nice to be able to have a meal at a place where all the Yebisu range was available. I ordered a few different things from the menu and they were all delicious, and served promptly.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Food was good and beer cold and Yabisu beer excellent. Great location.

I had a Yebisu beer for the first time in this place. I hadn’t heard of this brand of beer, but I must say that the draft I had, the regular one ( they do have quite a choice of different types of beer) and it was served perfectly temperature and gasified wise. A small 250ml beer is 560 yen, which i...s quite steep in a country where, amazingly, wine is cheaper than beer at a bar or restaurant. Very expensive, but given location and setup, it is an average price....

The Ginza neighborhood is a neat late night area to cruise and this place is a must do stop. The beer isn't cheap but is very high quality, especially the stout. The staff was helpful and there was a fun scratch game that we won a beer at.
