“Lovely lunch with others!”
Super good, atmosphere great being able to see the chef cook. The tempura was really fluffy, light, delicious and yummy. Location is brilliant reasonably close to the Shinjuku station. Lovely service as you could easily see the chef if you sat at the bar. Lots and lots of food so it is quite good va...lue. Wait time is good but if you go at peak time it can take a while to get a table. Overall, the tempura is way better then the ones back in Australia.

“Authentic Tempura”
During my visit to Tokyo, I visited Tsunahachi, a tempura restaurant with over 100 years of history. One thing that made the experience extra special was the way the staff treated me. Despite being busy, they were attentive and welcoming, making me feel completely at ease as a solo diner.

“Fried And Yummy To Perfection!”
My family and I were walking back to the MRT station when my mother noticed this restaurant on the left side of her view; I decided to have a second dinner. I did not eat a lot of the tempura, but when I took bites regarding the lobster tempura, I was impressed with the flavors and juices in the dis...h. The sauce and salt really enhances the flavor. I would recommend this restaurant for visitors that want to look for an easy-to-find restaurant for tempura.

“Outstanding!”
This is an excellent tempura place with outstanding service and superb food, yet at an extremely reasonable price. The tentsuyu comes with three separate garnishes and the dishes are cooked in front of you and served as soon as they are ready. The staff are wonderful (the chef noticed I was low on t...entsuyu and within seconds a colleague had topped me up before I'd even noticed!) and the ambience of the place is comfortable yet classy. A really top place to visit if you want real tempura

“Outstanding Tempura in Shinjuku”
I was in the Shinjuku area and wanted to eat tempura. This is simply the best tempura restaurant you can find. The batter is light and crispy. You sit at the bar counter and the chef goes about frying the tempura so you get served the morsel piping hot. I ordered the Edomae set - it’s a very filling... set with prawns, anago, crab, squid and all manner of vegetables fried perfectly. The wasabi salt and radish with soy goes perfectly with the tempura. Don’t speak Japanese? No worries! They have English menu and an instruction page to show you how to eat tempura with the dips. Definitely worth a visit !
