“A typical tourist trap”
Very disappointing. Indeed the 40 mins wait was not worthy considering the quality of the food being far behind expectations for an utmost inflated bill for very small portions. The many guides reporting this to be the best tempura in Tokyo are really misleading, because either the author has never ...been in Tokyo or he/she has never eaten a good tempura.

“OISHII TEMPURA”
The best golden crisp Tempura in Tokyo! Deep fried live shrimps served with tentsuyu sauce, japanese radish and misu soup with clam shells. Quite expensive but worth it!

“Amazing tempura”
This is a busy restaurant in the Shinjuku area of Tokyo. It is a traditional Japanese style restaurant on 3 floors with seating around a bar where the food is prepared. There is also table seating. The tempura is to die for as it is amazingly free, both the sea food and vegetables. This restaurant i...s frequented by many foreigners as well as Japanese and hence the extensive good wine and Champagne list as well as delicious Sake bottles.
