新宿つな八 大丸東京店

Whenever I am in Tokyo, I am visiting this restaurant. It is a bit hidden away in a Shopping Mall on the 12th floor. But the food and service is outstanding. I am always getting the dish with the 9 items. They changed it up a bit but the food is outstanding. The service is super nice and even that t...hey were full they were able to find me a spot at the bar. See you again in a couple of years :-)

After a few days of sushi and ramen it was a refreshing change to eat at this shop. Went on a Sunday night and only waited for around 10 minutes before we were seated at the counter. The tempura is cooked in front of you and is truly delicious and the food fresh. We had the set dinner and ordered ...the scallops and clams as extra. Highly recommended.

Found this restaurant on the top floor of Daimaru in Tokyo station; we were drawn in by the food display in the window. Made our selections of fixed price tempura menus and were introduced to the various salt options, along with a written guide for how to enjoy tempura. It was delicious.

I found this on TripAdvisor and it is truly a hidden jewel. It is a Tempura restaurant but has nothing to do with the thick tempura you get in the US. This is very fine and tasty. They have menu's with 9/12/15 items. I always go for the 9 and get an extra 2. For me this is a must visit when I am goi...ng to be in Tokyo. The service is super friendly and will make sure that nothing is missing. Try the oysters fried in a pepper. Yummy

You can even smell the crispiness in the air as you walk in. The sets are quite generous and comes at you a course at a time ensuring it's all hot and very crispy. Kids will love the temdon.
