ハードロックカフェ

I came to purchase some pins but I ended up purchasing a lot more. I even bought the letterman’s jacket. The staff were fun and friendly at the store. They even had a stamp for me to add to my travel journal. I also ended up having lunch at the cafe. I had the Tokyo burger. I think my waiter was Bri...tish but he spoke fluent Japanese—he was friendly and helpful. He helped me navigate my way to the HRC Ueno Eki.

We went to Hard Rock Cafe to have some food that is not Japanese and to experience something that we have at home. The food was good, the service was okay and we left feeling satisfied with the food. However, with the payment side of things, I would never recommend anyone go to this restaurant f...or the following reasons. There is a hidden service charge for you to eat there - we were a table of 2 people, which at home in the U.K. for us, service for a table of 2 often never exists. When provided with the bill, it stated to pay at the table. When asked for payment. The waitress asked for my card, walked off with it and charged the bill herself without bringing back a card machine or asking how I wanted to pay. The amount charged was also higher than on the bill because they requested it to be paid in GBP instead of YEN which should have been checked with me first. I believe this to be poor customer service and left feeling annoyed. After my card was charged, the waitress did not bring my card back to me immediately. I could see I was charged as the amount came up on my banking app. Again, this makes me feel unsafe about my card being used like that and not being returned after this was done for an extra 5-10 minutes. Really disappointed with this, no where else in Japan has had a payment system at all like this.

Rocking play list, awesome food and great service from James Lim and the team. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and we went twice during our stay. Hard Rock, and new to, fans won't be disappointed.

We have now been to 20+ Hard Rock Cafes and this was the by far the best welcome and service experience we have ever had so well done to the amazing team. It's a small venue tucked out the way but very easy to find and close to the train station. Food was great along with the menu variety including... some exclusive food and drink items. Efficient service, minimal waiting time and food tasted great. Rock shop too had some amazing Japanese inspired T-shirts.

Final find the NRC after a long day in Tokyo. This here is 1 of the smal ones and oldest HRC so it was very nice here. Good service as normal and when you have been on 1 you know the food
