My first to this iron chef Michiba restaurant in Ginza. He no longer cooks but one can observe new Japanese creations being prepared and presented. We had their Kai course this May. It was a delightful course with many new things I tasted for the first time. The zenzai was interesting. It consist of... 7 types of different preparation. The grilled cheese and cherry tomato was a stand out. Their signature dish consisting baked stuffed tomato with scallops, shrimps and vegetable was a standout and delicious. The dancing chi ayu was an amazing presentation of the whole fish! The rice cooked with ginger and Sakura shrimps was delicious. Their Wagyu beef presentation was also interesting. The desserts was enhanced with additional brandy! Price was actually quite good for the quality presented. Situated on the 8th floor opposite the Celine store!

あの有名な道場六三郎のお店です。ランチしか経験がありませんが、とにかく常に美味しいです。本店より気軽に入れる価格帯と雰囲気で、私はこちらの方で十分満足です。特に前菜は軽く感動します。メニューの構成は一定ですが中身は月毎に変わるので、ついつい銀座に用事がある時はここでランチしてしまいます。Restaurant by the famous Rokusaburo Michiba. It can never fails. I've also went to the main restaurant, which is more formal and expensive, but for me, this... casual restaurant is enough and I'm fully satisfied. Especially the appetizer is impressive. As the menu changes every month, whenever I go to Ginza, I tend to have lunch there.

Came here as a group of 3 and got assigned to the counter seats facing the chef. Atmosphere was warm and staff were welcoming. They served us English menu and briefly explained the set course. I highly recommend the set menu because you can get a taste of a variety of delicious food without giving y...ourself a headache to choose from the A la carte menu.
