We had a nice time with friends here. The service is nice, and the atmosphere very pleasant. As a first-time visitor to Tokyo, I really had no idea what was involved in a shabu shabu dinner. So what I am going to say next is only to inform others - I do not think there was anything wrong with wha...t the restaurant gave us. The wagyu beef used in shabu shabu dishes is extremely marbled and fatty. By the time we finished cooking just one slice of beef, there was so much fat on the surface of the water in the pot that I didn't want to eat anything else. I was surprised because I have heard lots of things about how great Japanese beef is. I had no idea it was so fatty. Word to the wise, if you didn't already know.

My hotel arranged this for us . Tricky to find but worth it. A really fantastic experience for a tourist like me. The staff were very sweet and kind and although not great communication we had a lovely time. Definitely a memorable enjoyable meal that we will remember for all the right reasons. Than...k you

The staff was rude. They cancelled my reservation because I was a foreigner despite the fact I had an email confirmation. They didn’t apologise. Don’t go there, there are better restaurants around.

Staff were all professional and made you feel like valued customers. They patiently explained each dish served and informed you of the next dish to be served. Seating arrangements provide privacy to each table, and frequent changes of serving plates and sauces. Food was all good: shabu shabu cra...bs, sliced beef, vegetables. Try the rice cake and noodles that come with each shabu shabu set. Even the dessert azuki (red bean) ice cream was delicious. Definitely worth a visit. Good value for ¥8k dinner set per person considering the food quality, service and restaurant setting.

Kisoji restaurants are located in many places in Japan, we tried the one in Ginza actually. we had the sukiyaki. the meat are so tender, and just melted in your mouth. It's pricy but worth it.
