“Regular japanese style.”
If a regular japanese style dinner is needed, would be a good place. Quick service and regular good food.

“Big Disappointment ”
We wanted to have a memorable Japanese style dinner on our last evening in Tokyo. The concierge at the Tokyo Marriott hotel recommended this B1 level west Wing Nakakawa mall restaurant across from the Shinagawa station and hotel shuttle stop with the assurance that "This is Japan". We beg to differ...; she obviously never tried it personally. It was a disappointing experience. First of all the ambience was less than satisfactory: we should have taken notice of the tobacco smell (and left) before we sat down. Then we did not get the full course dinner we asked for, obviously the result of the language barrier. The waiter misunderstood our order even after we pointed to the special menu; we were did not get the full course we came for and no sashimi. The American beef/pork deal @3200 yen was at best mediocre (Japanese beef cost 6k yen). The dipping sauce tasted watered down. Service was pretentious and perfunctory: from their private mumblings and facial expressions I could see that they had marked us as tourists. We passed on the udon. We have had much more enjoyable Shabu shabu experience in OC California, with better quality food & service. Our meal literally left a bad taste in our memory of an otherwise enjoyable Japan trip.

“We expected better”
Smoke was present everywhere. We thought we had ordered the less expensive sukiyaki, but were charged for the higher price one. We know we did not get that as there were many items that are on the menu that did not come to our table. Meat was too fatty.
