“Nummy Nadaman”
Thankful was I that we decided to dine in the Imperial Hotel where we were staying. With freezing temperatures outside (for this gal from the tropics), we looked forward to a lovely meal. And @Nadaman Restaurant Imperial Hotel, I saw the most artful preparations of food with an exquisite attention... to every detail. Our appetizers were so beautifully arranged and garnished that I almost didn't want to touch any of it. The flavour of each dainty piece was unique and appetizing. I settled to enjoy our Kaiseki meal. I was afraid I'd be too full before the main course arrived, but each elegantly presented course, perfect in every detail, served by elegantly-clad-and-well-mannered wait staff ~ teased the palate. Every piece I tasted was as scrumptious as the next one. The pièce-de-resistance: the marbleized top-grade beef cooked to perfection was melt-in-your-mouth delicious! I didn't want the dinner to end and I ate more than I should've, it was that delectable! Kudos to the service staff and the chef(s). Pricey yet worth it.

“Exquite japanese restaurant ”
We had a wonderful dinner experience at Nadaman restaurant (Imperial Hotel). We had smoked salmon with sour cream, tuna and avocado marinated with wasabi soy sauce, Chutoro and boiled rice. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was very relaxing and the staff was extremely polite.

“A taste of tradition”
There’s no other place to have a very traditional Japanese breakfast equally matched by a historic ambiance than at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo’s Nadaman restaurant. This hotel is one of the oldest and most iconic in the city, and having a fine breakfast here is a nice set-up to a morning stroll at the... nearby Imperial Palace grounds. Feast on a variety of gorgeous side dishes to complement the customary grilled fish, miso soup, rice, and seaweed serving.

“Expected more”
Lacking in imagination. Tasteless you need to dip in sauce for some flavor. From vegetable to the wagyu beef did not really enjoyed the meal. We were served more than 8 courses. Expected more.

“They need creativity in their service.”
Visited to meet my old friends in Jan. 2, 2018. We went there before 7am, because they didn't take reservation in morning time and around7 to 8am is usually busy time. But we could have seats without waiting. Foods are very authentic. But we could choose only 2 types of breakfast, steamed rice or K...ayu (risotto with slight salt flavor). Actually, it made us feel that we were having breakfast in hospital. Most of customers were elderly people at that time. Its ok, because they were customer, but the restaurant's staffs took much time to take care of them and obviously treated us differently from them. When a waiter served our meals without explaining ingredients, though they did for elderly people...And less smiling. We paid 4500 yen per meal. There is nothing special in their food (very normal), hospitality. Nadaman is believed to be one of the most prestigious Japanese restaurants in Tokyo. But it doesn't mean they can stay in their its position without change. I am sorry to say like this.
