“Scooping Yuba, 17th F. View, & Small-Room Tatami Experience”
Excellent Food! Reserve a set menu & a private room for your party. Traditional Kyoto-style Kaiseki little dishes based on tofu, their specialty is the hot-pot Yuba (square pan) which is scooped up & dipped in different sauces- you really should try it! You can add on a drink-plan also. The tatami ...is horikotatsu (you sit with your feet under the table). Lunch is about ¥1000-2000 cheaper. There is a dining room and they used to have take -out of certain items. Plan about 2 hours for the Slow-Food Experience at its finest in Japanese Traditional Atmosphere. And don't let the old elevator change your mind... I first saw another Ume no Hana (Plum Flower) in Tachikawa. People were lined up 30 minutes before the restaurant even opened!. I wondered what they could be serving to be that popular! Believe me, this is food for those who love to eat delicious!

“Nice place”
We were taken to this restaurant by a Japanese friend of ours, the restaurant is located on the 17th floor in the Kokubunji district not far from the station. The Japanese-style rooms are very nice and you can enjoy a beautiful view of Tokyo from the window. The main dish is tofu, but there is als...o a choice of meat and vegetables, all remarkable in traditional Japanese style Service is great and even willing to change the dishes on the menu the quality of the food is good I definitely recommend it
